Simply stated, we are mobilizing our region and inviting other cities and regions to join us in praying morning 6am-8am and/or evening 8pm-10pm daily in the manner like David set up the tabernacle in 1 Chr 16:37-42 So he left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark regularly, as every day’s work required..to offer burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly morning and evening. The purpose of this will be to encourage the development of ongoing daily prayer.

Take communion daily. A powerful reminder of the price He paid for redemption, restoration and victory we now have in Christ Jesus. By taking personally, with family, friends, it also signifies the importance of relationships in the body of Christ.

Prayer Focus: The Lord really dealt with us that He wants to raise up the watchmen at this hour across cities, regions, states and nations. It is part of the armory He is releasing. The supernatural victory of the Six Day War was because the air force (prayer force) was mobilized and dealt heavy blows to the enemy assault allowing ground troops to advance and bring a war to quick closure. It continues to be a lesson for us today and thus the center of the prayer focus. Please feel free to use it.

Info on the "Straits of Tammuz" by Rosemary Schindler

According to the Jewish calendar, this period marks the “Dire Straits” season, from the 17^th of Tammuz to the 9^th of Av. This is a season of increased danger for Israel and a historic day of calamity. This day is the beginning of the Three Weeks, an annual period of mourning over the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem . This is a period where watching and praying for Israel ’s safety is of heightened importance.

History records many of the catastrophic events that have taken place on these dates,

17th of Tammuz (this year July 3, 2007)

- Moses smashed the tablets of the Torah at Mt. Sinai

Y In the First Temple Era, the priests stopped offering the daily sacrifice on this day, due to the shortage of sheep during the siege.

Y The next year, Nebuchadnezzar forces breached the walls of Jerusalem .

- A Torah scroll was burned in the Temple by "Apostomos"

- An idol was erected in the Temple

- The city wall was finally breached

9th of AV (July 24, 2007)

Y 1200 BC Israel told by God in the wilderness that generation would not enter the land of promise for 40 years because of unbelief and the evil report of the 10 spies. That generation, except Joshua and Caleb. died in the wilderness. (It is 40 years since Mt. Moriah was given back to Islam, along with land given by God in the Six Day War - 1967).

Historically, the twenty - one days extending from the 17th of Tammuz until the 8th of AV, represented a notable time of bitterness and destruction of the Jews. Even in modern times, this continues to be a dark one for Jews.

According to the Rabbis, the demon that prevails during this time is also called "ketev" meaning destruction/bitterness. The Rabbis regarded "ketev" not solely as a plague, but a demon with authority to cause death and destruction through plagues.

It was during this precise time that the Lord¹s prophecy concerning the destruction of Jerusalem was fulfilled from Luke 21:24 “They will fall by the mouth and edge of the sword and will be led away as captives among all nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled and completed. (Isa. 63:18; Dan 8:13)

(Unbelief in their Messiah brought 2,000 years of exile = 40yrs x 50)

On the 17th of Tammuz, 70 AD the Romans breached the walls of Jerusalem . For three weeks Roman troops ransacked and destroyed the city until the 9th of

AV when they burned the Temple . In both the Babylonian and Roman captivity, the Temple was destroyed on this agonizing date.

It is reported that during the Holocaust, the Nazis systematically inspired actions against the 9th of AV to carry out murderous and other demonically inspired actions against the Jewish community.

The prophet Zechariah spoke of these dates in Zech. 8:19:

Thus says the LORD of hosts, "The fast of the fourth, the fast of the

fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth (months) will become joy, gladness and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah ; so love truth and peace." Zech. 8:19

Save the Bones of Our Ancestors -- Please Help! (contin.)

The Vice Chancellor has decided to disband the NAGPRA unit dedicated to discharging University responsibilities to tribes under federal and state NAGPRA laws. I urge you to help us reverse this decision, which was based on a report written by two archeologists who represent research interests that often conflict with tribal claims on the Museum's collection of ancestral remains. The review was conducted with a few days notice before the tribes could be notified and respond and Native Americans were completely and deliberately excluded from the process, despite my vigorous insistence that they be represented. As a result, NAGPRA services after June 30 will be cut or eliminated at a critical time when good faith and justice require that the level of service be maintained or increased. Native Americans will lose the University's only cohesive and qualified group they can count on for fair and objective consultation and document research on repatriation issues.

Vice Chancellor Burnside claims that NAGPRA services will continue at the "same level" after the NAGPRA unit is "folded into" overall Museum operations. This is cynical spin. One highly trained PhD will be laid off, and other staff members will be demoted and/or absorbed into the disparate activities of the Museum. Three of these are Native Americans, two with PhD's and one with a Masters in Anthropology; all have specialized knowledge of NAGPRA and Native American culture. Theywill now be directly supervised by Museum staff members who know nothing about NAGPRA or Native Americans and whose primary responsibilities include promoting the Museum as a whole, preserving the collections, and serving the needs of research scientists. The NAGPRA unit's former functions NAGPRA compliance, inventories, consultation, archival review, tribal visits and claims, document research, etc will be handled on a "case by case" basis largely by a single, yet-to-be-hired director with a background in osteology/archeology who will answer to Museum administrators and University researchers. Museum activities will take priority, and NAGPRA funds will inevitably be co-opted to "enhance" underfunded Museum programs.

The Phoebe Hearst Museum houses the nation's largest collection of Native American ancestral remains outside of the Smithsonian. Native Americans care deeply about the treatment of this collection, and many will not rest until their tribe's remains are returned and reburied. The NAGPRA staff has worked hard to establish good relations with Native Americans, while administering NAGPRA rules fairly and impartially, without favoring the tribes over the Museum, the University, or any other relevant constituency. Our goal is to build relationships and ensure that Native Americans have a seat at the table that their voices be heard and that their just claims be acknowledged and satisfied. The NAGPRA unit has succeeded in establishing relations of trust and collaboration between the Museum and Native Americans, hosting over two hundred tribal visits in the past year, working with Native American Studies and the American Indian Graduate Program, facilitating the Museum's California Indian Day and the Native American Heritage Month and much more. The decision to disband our unit will alienate tribes, break collaborative ties and destroy our hard work.

I have sent a detailed letter to Chancellor Birgeneau asking him to reconsider the Vice Chancellor's decision. I urge you to contact him as well. Help us convince the Chancellor that the decision is both a mistake and an injustice that will seriously damage University relations with Native American communities. An Invitation: To the Pastors of California, contin.

ARE WE TRULY SET APART?

What is even more tragic is that there is virtually no difference between “the churched” and “the unchurched” kids! Even many of the students who are “model” Christians on Sundays are in the same boat that is sinking and sinking fast. Language, manners, dress, interaction with the opposite sex, response to authority, etc. are very similar among the two groups, especially in the upper grades. The only groups that seem to have their “acts together” are the Mormons, Muslims, and other groups preaching false Jesus. No wonder why Islam (by numbers) and Mormonism (by percentage) are among the fastest growing religions in America.

Meanwhile, many of us in the Church of Jesus Christ are worried and fearful or asleep and complacent. Jesus said that we are the LIGHT of the world. However, instead of shining His glory on a hill we have placed it in a dark closet and shut the door! Therefore, we are not functioning as saints, but rather as 5 of the 7 churches Jesus warned us about in Revelation 2 and 3. We must live out 2 Chronicles 7:14 by repenting for our personal sins as well as that of our nation. Then we must intercede for the people of our churches, neighborhoods, schools, civic leaders, and so on. Repentance and intercession are two of the conditions set forth in God’s Word that will lead Him to listen and deliver our land.

IT’S TIME TO SOUND THE ALARM!

The third condition is UNITY. Imagine what God will do if we humble ourselves and seek Him as one “race” of people with the life giving blood of Jesus pumping through our veins! There are still too many divisions, egos and prideful attitudes in the Body that are preventing us from being one as the Father and the Son are ONE. We have allowed the enemy to enter our House of Prayer and he has succeeded in not only breaking us apart, but also in weakening and distracting us from our worship of God in spirit and truth.

One of the places where ALL THREE conditions are coming together is in the State of Washington. Hundreds of congregations have humbled themselves to pray as ONE CHURCH since 2004. And… each congregation is being prayerfully led by the senior pastor. These pastors have recognized that:

1. They must revive their personal prayer lives and be right before the Almighty.
2. They must lead their congregations in both repentance and revival.
3. They must unite with other pastors and congregations to pray and intercede together and have formed a network called “Sound the Alarm.”

The leaders and congregations of Washington are building a biblical foundation for the future of their state and our nation. Instead of blaming the world for the problems of our society, they are taking both the blame for the past prayerlessness as well the responsibility of going before the Maker of Heaven and Earth for the strength and solution! Because of these and other “Houses of Prayer for All Nations” that are taking root all across the nation, we have reasons to hope for America!

I believe God is calling His spiritual leaders and the Church of California to link arms with our brothers and sisters in the Northwest and ask the Lord to bring reformation, restoration, and revival to our land. Isaiah 59:19 states that from the WEST men will fear and revere the name of the Lord, and He will come like a pent up flood, driven by His mighty breath!

ACCUMULATED PRAYER

Last month, my family and I vacationed in Yosemite National Park. We had a wonderful time of rest and enjoyment in this area filled with God’s masterpieces. Due to this year’s late rainy season in California, the peaks were covered with tons of snow. Seeing the tremendous amounts of accumulated snow made me think of the pending revival. Our ACCUMULATED prayers will be answered in God’s timing like a great flood caused by the high snow level melting ALL at once. I believe we can be a part of a global revival that will usher the return of the King. We are to BE His people for such a time as this.

If this letter spoke to you, please consider participating in the September 9, 2006 gathering and let us form an alliance throughout California and beyond. The Holy Spirit desires to bind our hearts together in unity and to fulfill the prayers of Jesus in John 17. I look forward to your reply in the near future.

FORTY DAYS OF REPENTING & BLESSING

FOR

CALIFORNIA

In light of recent words given concerning California, and the moral crises we face as a state, this 40 Day Call for Repenting & Blessing is being issued to pray and fast for this state. The 40 Days begins the evening of October 2^nd and goes through November 8^thto the special election. It starts with the Jewish New Year, goes through the 10 days of fasting to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) on Oct 12^th, and then through to the special elections in November. A more detailed explanation of words given for the state and strategy can be found at www.praycal.org.

A word from Mike Bickle: Leader of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City: (There have been a number of words given this year concerning our State and need for repentance. Our state influences all the nations of the world.) Additional words are given on the web site.) Note: Calls concerning judgment usually are opportunities for God to show His Mercy and to bring restoration.

Mike had a dream recently where “angels of the Lord went to blow a trumpet of judgment over California three times. And he paused three times and the word was that California has a minute. We have a minute before judgment to repent. He also got Ezekiel 22:30-31. Mike also stated that a casual response by the church will be detrimental to our state, California, and to the USA.

During this 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting we need to address the sins and moral decay in our state and ask God to revive us again, (Psalms 85:6,7) and restore us to His purposes. As we acknowledge our sins before God, He promises to forgive and heal (restore) our land. (2 Chron. 7:14,15) In other words, He desires to demonstrate mercy as we turn to Him. At issue this past year has been: Abortions, Embryo Stem Cell research, exporting of violence, immorality, and sexual perversion. Other issues include promotion of homosexuality through the legislature, Idolatry, rejection of God through humanism/secularism, and the excluding God from the educational and judicial system. We have tolerated the abuse of women and children, tolerance of witchcraft, occultism, Harry Potter, Lawlessness (murder, drugs, gangs, thefts, rape, domestic violence), prayerlessness, coldness, indifference. Our state leads the nation in the shedding of innocent blood through abortions and embryo stem cell research.

For these sins and others, may we turn to Him and ask for a revelation of His Mercy and Love to be demonstrated in our state so that all may know Him and choose to serve His kingdom.

-10 Days of Fasting begins at Sundown

-Pray repentance & blessings for Israel. (Psalms 89). The U.S. has agreed with the giving of land belonging to Israel in exchange for peace. This is breaking covenant with God. This land was given by God to Israel. (Gen 12:3) “Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse her will be cursed.” Pray for God’s intervention in the Middle East and for true peace. Let’s pray there will be an outpouring of His Love and Mercy in the Middle East.

Week of Oct 3-8: Rosh Hashanah. Read Psalms 24

-10 Day Fast Continues. Rosh Hashanah means head of the year. At the beginning of the New Year until Yom Kippur were 10 Days of fasting, repentance and prayer. They asked God to redeem the sins of the past year and to seal them for a new beginning for the coming year. It was called The Feast of Trumpets.

-Declare Christ as our only one and true King. The Jews started this holiday by declaring God as their “one and only true king.”

-Ask God to cleanse our hands from shedding innocent blood and give us clean hands and pure hearts to demonstrate His goodness.

-Repent for: Shedding of innocent blood, Abortions, Embryo research, lawlessness. Pray His mercy, His love, and His forgiveness for those who have participated in these things this year.

-Repent for the passing of laws that agree with evil. Psalms 94:20,21

-Pray for and bless those in the Legislature, in authoritative positions.

Week of Oct 9-12: Begin the week with Psalms 148

-10 Day Fast Continues (Our prayers for those enslaved in sin should always include our desire to demonstrate and pray for them to know God’s love and mercy)

-Declare a renewed covenant with God in California that the people of our state will know Him from the least to the greatest based on Heb. 8:10-12.

-Repent for sexual perversion in all forms including Homosexuality. Rom. 1:21-28

-Repent for toleration of witchcraft, occultism, Harry Potter, participation in Halloween. Ask for a revelation of God’s true power.

-Pray for those in bondage to occultism and homosexuality that they may know God’s love and mercy; pray that they would choose to turn from their wicked ways and would draw near to God with a newfound passion.

-Repent for the idolatry and worship of other gods. Gen 20:3-5

Day of October 11: Special Focus: Day before Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) had a special focus. Atonement stands for At-one-ment with God. The Jews believed that during this 10 days of repentance, between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, God reviewed the past year. This judgment/review would determine their destiny for the next year unless they repented. Repentance allowed God to change what they deserved and “inscribe and seal” a new destiny based on blessing/mercy such as he did for Nineveh who repented. They would speak a blessing to one another, “Be sealed and inscribed for the New Year.” This met they were to seek God for a new beginning each year! A new destiny! Each would seek a time of personal repentance to prepare for this new beginning. We need to take stock of where we have been and are going in California and ask God to restore His redemptive purposes for our state.

-A time for personal repentance below:

-Make a personal declaration that you are crucified to the world. Gal. 6:14

-Make a commitment to holiness: Give God permission to discipline you 1) Demonstrate charity/mercy to others, 2) Seek forgiveness from others you have wronged or spoken ill of or offended – especially family, friends, 3) Return things you have taken, 4) Turn from questionable habits and practices God would not approve of, 5) Make a commitment to set no unholy thing before your eyes (Ps 119:37), 6) Obey God in everything He has asked you to do, 7) Seek to be filled with the fruits of the spirit (Gal 5:22).

Day of October 12: Special Focus: Yom Kippur “Day of Atonement”

-Last day of 10 Day Fast. At the end of Yom Kippur the Book of Jonah was read concerning the 40 days God gave Nineveh to repent to show that God desires to bless and not judge. He wants to show His mercy as we turn to Him! Note: Christ addresses the churches in Revelation by the names of their cities/territories and holds them accountable for the sin in their Midst. (See Revelations Chapters two and three. He calls upon them to repent for the moral conditions in their cities/regions. Then He promises a blessing.)

-Make a declaration for California to behold the lamb of God who takes away our sins. (John 1:29-34)

-Pray for all the families in our state that biblical marriages will be preserved.

-Partake of Communion to rededicate yourself/family to God.

-Break the 10 Day Fast with Communion this evening.

-Prayer declaring the Cross of Christ over California for a new beginning this year.. “Be inscribed and sealed for the New Year.”

A Blessing for California:

“We declare that the power of God to those who believe in the Cross, has come and been released through the State of California. California shall boast in the cross, the source of her spiritual strength. We repent for any agreement with efforts to remove the cross in our state.

We confess that all pride and self-exaltation is brought low and crucified so that our faith may be perfected, and we may live unto righteousness. Therefore, all unrighteousness, injustice, lawlessness, and materialism shall bow at the feet of Jesus.

We proclaim California that He died that you may no longer live for ourselves but for him. Pick up your cross and follow Him!

We bless California with peace and declare that the chastisement of your well-being has fallen upon Christ and He has reconciled you to Himself through the blood of His cross.

Though you were dead (California) in trespasses and sin, He has made you alive together with Him, having forgiven all of your transgressions!

We further announce by faith that the walls between believers in this state are broken down. Christ has removed the wall of division between Catholics and Protestants, Denominations, Jews and Gentiles that He might reconcile all to God the Father through the cross putting to death enmity which has divided us. We declare that Christ is our peace, our hope, and the way.(Ephesians 2:14-18).

We believe that His Cross will continue its journey in this state bringing forth grace, mercy, healing, reconciliation and revival”

We Call on the cleansing refiner’s fire of God to fall on our State!

We seek the one who bore our sins for revival and restoration:

“He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.” Malachi 3:3

We ask you, O God, to inscribe and seal the destiny for California for this coming year in a way that will cause our state to fulfill its destiny you have ordained.

Let us continue the Journey!

Oct. 13-16: Declare a breakthrough for believers and churches through the power of the Cross.

-Proclaim “The Dawning of Righteousness & Justice each morning for the remainder of the 40 Days

-Repent for Covenant Breaking in our state which include divorce and other agreements.

-Study the meaning of the Cross for our day: I Cor 1:18; Col 2:13,14; I Cor 2:1-5; Gal. 2:20; Matt. 10:38,39; Gal 6:14; I Pet 2:24; 2 Cor 5:15-17; John 12:32; Col 1:20; John 3:16; I Pet 2:9,24; Phil 2:8-10; Rev 1:5,6

Oct. 17-23: Declare a new inheritance for the Children of California.

-Declare “The Dawning of Righteousness & Justice” each morning.

-Declare Psalms chapter one over your children and the fatherless.

-Pray for the Marriages in the state to be strengthened and that God would be the center of each household. Pray that God-loving men would rise up as involved, spiritual leaders over their families.

-Speak words of blessing over your children & grand children.

-There is a great need for spiritual fathers to speak blessings over children so that children understand what mercy on display looks like. Mal. 4:5,6

“Heavenly Father, We appeal to you to restore the institution of marriage in America and in California. We repent for the broken covenants represented by divorce and fornication. We invite you visit every home in the 58 Counties of California and restore honor in the marriage relationships so we will honor you across this state. We petition you to call forth the fathers of our homes and impart to them the authority and wisdom to know how to impart spiritual coverings for the families. Where fathers are unable to impart this spiritual covering, we implore you sovereign Lord to impart a spiritual covering where it is lacking and heal the marriages in the families of our state. Teach us this year how to love and honor one another so that you are lifted up in our society as the way, the truth, and the life. Turn our hearts towards home in a new way in 2005. Let us be your mercy on display this year in our homes.”

Oct. 24-29: Declare a release of godly wisdom, truth, knowledge into the School Systems.

-Declare: “The Dawning of Righteousness and Justice”

-Repent for our society embracing Humanism, Secularism, and Darwinism so that God is excluded from our institutions. Reject the spirit of anti-Christ that has moved into our institutions through these philosophies and ask for a new revelation of God and His Love to be infused into all our institutions.

-Pray for the educational systems for godly administrations and teachers to come forth.

-Pray Proverbs 3:1-26 over the schools in your community.

-Pray for the State Universities who were once called “Normal Schools” to reclaim their spiritual foundations they started out with: The founder of Normal Schools Horace Mann gave this truth about these schools that we can use to pray over them and claim back their heritage. Listen to the hope in this description of the original purpose of our State Universities:

“I believe Normal Schools to be a new instrumentality in the advancement of the race

I believe that without them free schools would be shorn of their strength and their healing power, and would at length become mere charity schools.. the universal diffusion and ultimate triumph of all glorious Christianity itself must await the time when knowledge shall be diffused among men through the instrumentality of good schools, Coiled up in this institution, as in a spring, there is a vigor whose uncoiling may wheel the spheres.”

Oct. 30-Nov 5: Pray God’s Blessing over the Transportation Systems, Waterways.

-Declare: “The Dawning of Righteousness and Justice”

-Declare they will be used to export a knowledge of God.

-Pray over our harbors for these gateways to be protected.

-Pray Psalms 24 over the gateways of our state.

-Pray Psalms 24 over the gateways of your city: Gateways are spheres of influence, spheres of authority, spheres of access, spheres of commerce.

Nov. 6-9: Pray for the spiritual condition of the Body of Christ in our state.

-Declare: “The Dawning of Righteousness and Justice”

-Repent for our lukewarmness towards God and the toleration of evil in our midst and ask God to give us greater love and passion for the lost.

-Read: Christ’s message to the churches of Thyatira, Laodicea in Rev 2:18-26; 3:14-22). Both messages apply in California. Note the specific call to repentance Christ gives at the end of each word He gives. Calls to repentance should be specific. At the end of each word is a message of hope and mercy.

-Pray Isaiah 62:4-7 over California a new vision of God’s blessing.

-Pray Isaiah 60:1-5 over California for a new expectation of mercy.

-Pray Isaiah 9:5-7 over Government Offices for a new foundation of righteousness

-Pray Senator Morrow’s Prayer Points for Government:

· Fear of God: Pray that the Governor, legislators, Supreme Court justices and other officials receive wisdom that comes from the fear of God.

· Sanctity of Marriage: Pray state leaders will respect the sanctity of marriage between a man and a women

· A Resurgence of Moral Values: Pray there will be a resurgence of moral values among state law makers and legislators when writing legislation and in voting for laws. (Include: Pray this will include a reverence for life that will negate the agreement with abortion and embryo stem cell research)

· Improved Communications between citizens and legislators: Pray the citizens/residents of California will become better informed, more passionate and actively involved in communicating their views with legislators – whom they hold accountable.

· A New Emphasis on civility in the Capitol: Pray there will be a new emphasis on civility in the capitol when debating contentious issues.

· A Sense of Justice: Pray that all politicians will govern justly and wisely.
